How We Pray

HeartSync

A gentle, Christ-centered approach that helps the whole heart come into loving relationship with Jesus.

HeartSync invites every part of the heart to encounter the presence, truth, and healing love of Jesus.

HeartSync helps wounded and disconnected places of the heart experience connection with Jesus.

Developed by Bishop Andrew Miller, HeartSync is a biblical inner-healing approach inspired by Christ’s mission to “heal the brokenhearted.” It recognizes that pain and unresolved conflict can leave us feeling divided within ourselves and disconnected from God and others.

Through gentle, guided prayer, a facilitator helps you notice what is happening within your heart and invite Jesus into those places. The goal is not to force healing, but to make room for His presence, truth, and love.

Moving Toward Wholeness

Each part of the heart is welcomed with compassion rather than judged or pushed aside. As those places connect with Jesus and with one another, the whole heart can move toward greater peace, freedom, and unity.

The Four Core Parts of the Heart

HeartSync helps us understand how these parts relate to God, to one another, and to the experiences we carry.

True Self

The heart’s true essence and the part most able to connect deeply with God.

Function

The part that manages daily life and may remain separated from painful memories.

Emotion

The part most closely connected to pain, trauma, and unresolved emotions.

Guardian

The protective part that tries to keep daily life from becoming overwhelmed by pain.

“Give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.”

Psalm 86:11 (NIV)
